Ring Magazine fight of the year 1990: Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Meldrick "The Kid" Taylor, the Box-WM 17 March 1990 between the WBC welterweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. of Mexico and IBF world champion Meldrick Taylor of the United States rather than fight in Las Vegas, Nevada was a historic boxing match.
